Product Description
The displacement sensor in the electronic accelerator pedal assembly of BYD's new energy buses works on the principle of a voltage divider circuit. The ECU supplies a 5V voltage to the sensor circuit, and the accelerator pedal is connected to the brush of the sliding rheostat inside the sensor through a rotating shaft. When the driver steps on or releases the accelerator pedal, the pedal drives the brush to move, causing the voltage between the brush and the ground terminal to change. The pressure-bearing circuit inside the computer converts the voltage into a position signal of the accelerator pedal and transmits it to the ECU, which controls the output power of the drive motor accordingly to achieve acceleration, deceleration or constant speed driving of the vehicle.
